Talent Development coordinates the 45th Professional Development Institute in 2024. The PDI is a long-standing tradition offering CSU faculty, state classified personnel, administrative professionals, and graduate students an opportunity to explore a wide-range of topics designed to enhance their professional growth and personal enrichment as we try to address the whole person and bring balance between work-related skills and personal advancement.

The purpose of PDI is to provide an opportunity to bring us all together to share ideas, explore issues, and gain insights into learning, teaching, and service, as well as other professional and personal activities.

Historically, the PDI is hosted the second week in January before students return to campus for the spring semester.

2024 PDI registration is open

This year’s registration will be in the Bridge/ My Learning System. Please access the attached Schedule PDF and click on the session link you’d like to attend to see the full description and to register. Here are things to note when registering:

  2. Find the title that you’d like to cancel.

"Find your Energy"
Jan. 8-10, 2024

Lightbulb with renewable energy

Find your Energy is the theme for 2024. PDI offers an opportunity to connect with each other, learn together, explore new ideas, network, and celebrate our CSU community.

Presenters and participants share ideas on topics such as sustainability, inclusivity across campus, health and wellbeing, creating positive change together, and gaining new insights from each other. Online and in-person sessions are offered.
